Ordleway
Wordle in Pig Latin: guess the day's seven-letter word that ends in ay.
Every day: A new seven-letter Pig Latin word to guess each day, Wordle-style, with coloured tiles after every guess. New puzzle: Midnight, your local time.

Ordleway is Wordle with a Pig Latin twist. The daily answer is a seven-letter Pig Latin word, made from a five-letter word starting with a consonant or a four-letter word starting with a vowel. Every guess must be in Pig Latin too, and coloured tiles show how close you are.
About Ordleway
Ordleway is a browser word game by ElanMakesGames, built in Unity and inspired by Josh Wardle's Wordle. The answer each day is a seven-letter word in Pig Latin, and you guess it on a seven-wide grid with an on-screen keyboard.
The Pig Latin rules are spelled out on the page. If a word starts with a single consonant and a vowel, the first letter moves to the end and ay is added. If it starts with two or more consonants, the whole cluster moves to the end before ay, so PLANE becomes ANEPLAY. If it starts with a vowel (not counting y), yay is added at the end. That means the base word behind each answer is either a five-letter word starting with a consonant or a four-letter word starting with a vowel.
After each guess the tiles change colour: green for a letter in the right spot, yellow for a letter in the word but in the wrong spot, and grey for a letter that is not in the word. Since most answers end in AY, the last tiles often turn green early, and the real puzzle is working out the start of the word and where its consonants went.
A new Ordleway comes out every day at midnight in your own time zone. It plays free in the browser on itch.io with keyboard or mouse.

Tips
- Answers that end in AY start with a consonant; answers that end in YAY come from a word starting with a vowel.
- Letters just before AY are the consonants that started the base word, so solve those to narrow the field.
- Try a first guess whose base word has common letters such as E, R, S and T.
- Convert carefully: a word starting with two consonants moves both to the end.
