Morsle (Decipher)
Wordle where every letter has to be tapped out in Morse code.
Every day: One hidden five-letter word a day, picked from the date so everyone gets the same one, guessed Wordle-style but typed in Morse code. New puzzle: Midnight local time.

Morsle is a daily word game on the DECIPHER codebreaking site. You have six guesses to find a five-letter word, as in Wordle, but you enter each letter in Morse code with dot and dash keys; green, yellow and grey tiles show how close you are.
About Morsle (Decipher)
Morsle takes the familiar Wordle rules and adds a layer of code. The hidden word has five letters and you get six guesses, each of which must be a valid English word. The difference is input: instead of a keyboard of letters, you have a dot key, a dash key, backspace and Enter. You tap out each letter in Morse (dot dash for A, dash dot dot dot for B, and so on) and press Enter to turn it into a letter.
After each guess the tiles colour in the usual way: green for the right letter in the right place, yellow for a letter in the word but in the wrong place, grey for a letter not in the word. A Morse chart sits beside the board, and confident players can hide it for an extra challenge. The page shows today's average number of guesses, and logged-in players keep a streak.
The day's word is picked from a word list using the local date, so everyone playing on the same date gets the same word. Morsle is part of DECIPHER (decipher.wiki), a site of cipher tools, puzzles and lessons for codebreakers. It suits Wordle players who want a twist and anyone learning Morse code.
