Onepiecedle is a daily guessing game about the characters of One Piece, from the maker of LoLdle. Each of four modes has one character to find each day, from attribute clues to a blurred wanted poster or a laugh from the anime, and everyone gets the same answers. An Infinite mode gives extra Classic rounds.

About Onepiecedle

Onepiecedle is a browser game in which you guess a character from the One Piece manga and anime every day. It is by Benjamin Widawski, the maker of LoLdle, and follows the same format. It is a fan project: the site states that Eiichiro Oda, Shueisha, Fuji Television and Toei Animation do not endorse or sponsor it.

In Classic mode you type any character and compare it with the hidden one on gender, affiliation, Devil Fruit type, Haki, last bounty, height, origin and the arc where the character first appeared. Green tiles match, orange tiles match in part, red tiles do not, and arrows on numbers such as bounty and height point up or down. A character with no bounty shows 0, and a dead character shows their last bounty while alive. After several guesses you can open clues such as the name of their Devil Fruit, the chapter and episode of their first appearance, or whether they are alive, deceased or unknown.

The other modes each have their own character. Devil Fruit names a fruit and asks who ate it, with clues for its type, a translation of its name and what it does. Wanted shows a blurred bounty poster that clears with each try, and only characters who have had a bounty can come up. Laugh plays a character's laugh from the Japanese dub of the anime, with clues for their origin and affiliation. Infinite gives unlimited Classic rounds.

There is a daily streak, statistics, and a Europe or America time zone setting for the reset. Onepiecedle suits readers and viewers who know the crews, bounties and fruits well, including minor characters.

How to play Onepiecedle

  1. Open Onepiecedle and choose the Europe or America time zone in the settings.
  2. In Classic mode, type any character's name and submit it.
  3. Read the tiles: green is an exact match, orange is partial, red is no match, and arrows show whether the answer's bounty or height is higher or lower.
  4. Keep guessing, opening the Devil Fruit, first appearance or status clues if needed, until you find the character.
  5. Play Devil Fruit, Wanted and Laugh, each with its own character for the day.

Tips

  • Bounty arrows narrow things fast: a guess with a mid-range bounty tells you which way to go.
  • A bounty of 0 on the answer means a character who never had one, which rules out most pirates.
  • In Wanted mode only characters with a bounty can come up, so leave out marines and civilians unless they once had one.
  • In Laugh mode, the audio is from the Japanese dub, so think of how the character sounds in that version.
