Koto: Word of the Day
A daily word to find from colour clues, its length changing with the date.
Every day: One hidden word a day in each language, the same for every player, with a length that changes by date and five to eight tries depending on length, plus daily topic puzzles. New puzzle: One new set a day; the maker does not say at what hour.

Koto is a Wordle-style word game for iPhone and Android from KokoroPixel. Every day there is one hidden word, the same for every player in your language, and its length changes with the date, so you get between five and eight tries. Topic dailies on film, sport, history and more run beside it, and every past date stays playable.
About Koto: Word of the Day
You type a word and read the colours: green for the right letter in the right spot, yellow for a letter that is in the word elsewhere, grey for one that is not there. Koto accepts any word of the right length even if it is not in its dictionary. Longer words give more tries, from five up to eight, and because the length shifts with the date the daily calendar does not repeat one shape all year.
The home screen lists today's challenges: the shared word of the day plus daily puzzles for topics you follow, such as general knowledge, film, sport or the human body. A challenge calendar keeps every past date as its own puzzle and awards gold, silver or bronze trophies for speed. You can send a friend the word you just played to compare tries, and Classic mode gives unlimited games from four to ten letters. Coins earned by playing buy hints, which nudge rather than give the definition away.
Koto is made by Oscar Ramirez under the KokoroPixel name and came to the App Store in September 2026. It runs in English, Spanish, Danish, German and French, with words written for each language rather than translated. It is free with ads, and a one-time purchase removes them; it works offline and needs no account.
