Impress
Spell words to build a bonus, then spell the hidden headline word to win it, all from the same limited ink.
Every day: One numbered board per day (#74 on 2 October 2026), the same for everyone: letters with limited ink, a hidden headline word that uses every letter, and points to build before you spell it. New puzzle: Daily.

Impress is a daily word game about spending ink wisely. Each board has a handful of letter tiles, each with a limited number of uses, and a hidden headline word made from every letter on the board. Spelling ordinary words builds a bonus; spelling the headline wins it and ends the round, but both draw on the same ink.
About Impress
Impress gives everyone the same numbered board each day. You see a few letter tiles, each marked with dots showing how much ink it has left, and a row of blank tiles for the headline: a hidden word that uses every letter on the board.
You tap letters to spell words and press Press to print them. Every valid word adds to your score and to the headline bonus, but every letter you use spends ink. Spelling the headline is the only way to claim the bonus, and once you spell it the round is over. The tension is deciding how long to keep building points before the ink you need for the headline runs out.
The game is free, has no ads and no accounts, works offline once loaded and can be installed to a phone home screen. Short tips walk you through the rules on your first visit.
It suits anagram fans and players who enjoy push-your-luck scoring in a word game.
