Hexordle is a free browser word game in the line of Wordle, Dordle, Quordle and Octordle. Every guess you type goes onto six boards at once, and you have 11 tries to uncover all six words. A new numbered daily puzzle arrives each day, and a free mode lets you keep playing.
About Hexordle
Hexordle takes the Wordle idea and multiplies it by six. Instead of one hidden five-letter word there are six, all different, each on its own board. You type one word at a time, and that word is entered on all six boards together. Each board colours the tiles for its own word: green for a letter in the right spot, yellow for a letter in the word but elsewhere, grey for a letter that is not in it.
You get 11 guesses in total to solve every board. That is five more than Wordle allows for one word, so there is room for a few scouting guesses early on, but every guess spent on one board is also spent on the other five. Once a board is solved it stops taking new rows, and the keyboard shows split colours so you can see at a glance how each letter did on each board.
The game is made by Jordnan Blee, and its own credits say it builds on Octordle by Kenneth Crawford, Quordle by @fireph and Dordle by Guilherme S. Töws. It runs in the browser with no sign-up. The same site also offers Trordle, a three-word version, with a daily and a free mode of its own.
The daily Hexordle is numbered and is the same for everyone on the same date. When you finish, you can copy your result to the clipboard, save it as an image or post it, so friends can compare. If one puzzle a day is not enough, free Hexordle deals a fresh set of six words each time.
Hexordle suits players who find Quordle a little too easy and Octordle a little too long: six boards ask for real planning about which letters to test, while a game still fits into a coffee break.

Tips
- Spend your first two or three guesses on words with common, different letters to light up as many of the six boards as you can.
- When one board is nearly solved, finish it early only if the guess also tests useful letters for the boards still open.
- Keep count: with six words to solve in 11 guesses, you can afford about five guesses that do not solve a board.
