HelloWords (stern.de)
A daily five-letter word in six tries, on German-language news sites.
Every day: One five-letter word of the day (Tageswort), the same for every player, to find in six tries with green, yellow and grey hints. New puzzle: Once a day.

HelloWords is a Wordle-style daily word game made by kr3m for the games pages of news sites such as stern.de and 20 Minuten. Find the day's five-letter word in six tries, guided by green, yellow and grey tiles.
About HelloWords (stern.de)
HelloWords is kr3m's take on Wordle, offered on the games hubs it runs for publishers, among them stern.de and 20 Minuten, where it is billed as the daily German word puzzle. Each day there is one hidden five-letter word, the Tageswort, the same for everyone.
You have six tries. After each guess the tiles turn green for a right letter in the right place, yellow for a letter in the word but elsewhere, and grey for a letter not in the word, and you plan the next guess from those hints. There is no time pressure; the game runs in the browser with no download.
The game is free with ads, and stern.de offers an ad-free games subscription.
It suits German speakers who want their daily Wordle on a news site they already read.
