Guess the Footballer (Quizebra)
Rate itName the day's footballer from his career, revealed one club at a time.
Every day: One footballer a day, the same for everyone, revealed club by club in career order with years, league games and goals; your score is the club you name him on. New puzzle: Once a day, with a new player for everyone.

Guess the Player is Quizebra's daily football quiz. One player's career is shown club by club, earliest first, with the years and the league games and goals at each, and you name him as early as you can. Lower scores are better, and everyone gets the same player each day.
About Guess the Footballer (Quizebra)
Guess the Player is one of Quizebra's daily football challenges. Each day one footballer's career is revealed in order, earliest club first, and every club comes with the years he spent there and his league games and goals for that spell. The player is the same for everyone that day, so the leaderboard compares like with like.
You can type a name at any point or press Next Club to see the next stop in his career, which costs you a place. A wrong guess costs the club you guessed on and the next one as well, and a wrong guess near the end of the career finishes the round with the player revealed. Your score is the number of the club you named him on, so lower is better, and there is no timer.
The pool holds over 450 footballers, and each comes up once before any repeats. Careers run from three clubs to sixteen, so some days give you much less to go on than others. It is free with no sign-up, and suits fans who follow transfers and know where players started out.
How to play Guess the Footballer (Quizebra)
- Open Guess the Player and press Start Playing.
- Read the first club, with its years, games and goals.
- Type a player's name and pick it from the list, or press Next Club to reveal the next club.
- Keep going until you name the player; wrong guesses cost you two clubs.
- Compare your club number with the day's leaderboard; lower is better.
Tips
- Early clubs with few games often point to a youth or loan spell; the goals column hints at his position.
- Do not guess too early: a miss costs two clubs, not one.
- Near the end of a long career the current club button reads Current Club, a clue that he is still playing.
