About FIVEFOLD

FIVEFOLD is a small daily logic puzzle that began in November 2025. The base is a Latin square: a five by five grid in which each of the five digits appears exactly once in every row and every column. On top of that, each puzzle uses a few rule symbols, such as dots between cells or shapes on cells, that add constraints, and the mix of rules changes every day.

Each daily puzzle is numbered and labelled with a difficulty (number 326, medium, on 2 October 2026). Everyone gets the same puzzle, picked by date from a fixed set, and a new one arrives at midnight US Eastern time. After solving you can see a histogram of how long other players took.

You can enter final answers or pencil marks in Notes mode, check the rules panel at any time and ask for a hint. A Dojo offers practice packs, including puzzles with a single rule, easy, medium and hard, so you can learn each symbol before it appears in a daily.

It suits Sudoku and KenKen players who want a short daily grid with a fresh twist.

How to play FIVEFOLD

1. Open fivefold.ca and press Start on today's numbered puzzle.
2. Fill the 5x5 grid so each digit appears once in every row and column.
3. Obey the rule symbols shown on and between cells; open the rules panel to check what each means.
4. Use Notes for pencil marks and Hint if you are stuck, then compare your time.
