Fabble is made for players of Flesh and Blood, the fantasy trading card game. The heart of it is the Daily Card: the game has picked one card for the day, and you work out which one it is in as few guesses as you can. Each try tells you more about the card's properties, such as its cost and attack power, and a daily streak counts how many days in a row you have found it.

Beside the daily puzzle are two modes to play at any time. Challenge Mode is a race against the clock: guess as many cards as you can before time runs out, and three wrong answers end the run. Training Mode drops the timer so you can drill one set, class or card type before a draft or an event, and a card search lets you look cards up.

Fabble comes from OutOut and is offered on itch.io as a PC edition for whatever price you choose, including nothing. It was also released for iPhone and Android, but those store listings no longer load, so the download is the way to play it now. It suits Flesh and Blood players who want a short daily test of their card knowledge.

How to play Fabble

1. Download Fabble from itch.io (name your own price, free is allowed) and start it.
2. Choose Daily Card from the main menu.
3. Guess a Flesh and Blood card by name.
4. Use what each guess reveals about the day's card, such as its cost and attack power, to narrow it down.
5. Find the card in as few guesses as you can to keep your streak going.

Tips

• Start with a card whose stats sit in the middle of the range so the feedback cuts the field in half.
• Use Training Mode on the newest set before an event: the daily card can come from any of them.
• Challenge Mode ends after three wrong answers, so skip a card you do not know rather than guess wildly.
