Guess·5 (doce.games)
One hidden word a day and five clues, vaguest first; the clock is your score.
Every day: One hidden word a day, the same for everyone, to guess from up to five clues, vaguest first, against the clock. New puzzle: Midnight in your local time zone (the game picks the day's puzzle from your device's date).

Guess·5 (Enigma·5 in Spanish) gives you one hidden word a day. You are told what kind of thing it is and get clues from vaguest to clearest; each extra clue costs 20 seconds and each wrong guess 10. Your time, penalties included, is your score.
About Guess·5 (doce.games)
Guess·5 is a daily one-word riddle from doce.games. At the start you learn what kind of thing the word is, an object or an animal for example, and you see the first of five clues. You type your guess whenever you think you have it.
Nothing is forbidden, but everything costs time: asking for another clue adds 20 seconds and a wrong guess adds 10. The clock runs for up to three minutes, keeps running if you leave, and you get one try a day. When you are done you can see the word, share your result or challenge someone.
It is one of the daily games on doce.games, a small site with no accounts, no ads and nothing to install, playable in Spanish, English, German, Portuguese, Italian and French. The daily games there share the same rules of the house: one try a day, the same puzzle for everyone, and a link to challenge a friend with your result.
It suits players who like guessing from clues, as in Kino or 7 Little Words, and who want a game that takes a minute or two.
How to play Guess·5 (doce.games)
- Open doce.games/en/enigma5 and press Start.
- Read the category and the first clue.
- Type the word if you know it; a wrong guess costs 10 seconds.
- Ask for another clue if you need it; each costs 20 seconds.
- Get the word before three minutes are up and compare your time.
Tips
- A wrong guess costs half as much as a clue, so a reasonable guess is often cheaper than waiting.
- Think about the category first: it rules out most words.
- The clock keeps running if you leave the page.
