Emantle (에맨틀)
A Korean Semantle on energy and the environment: guess today's word by closeness of meaning.
Every day: One numbered Korean word of the day (No. 63 on 3 October 2026), the same for everyone, found by guessing words and reading how close in meaning each one is. New puzzle: Once a day.

Emantle (에맨틀) is a Korean word game on the Seoul city energy information site. Once a day there is a word of the day to find. Each guess gets a similarity score showing how close its meaning is to the answer, and guesses among the 1,000 closest words also get a rank. The name joins energy with Kkomantle, the Korean Semantle, and the daily words lean towards energy and the environment.
About Emantle (에맨틀)
Emantle, 에맨틀 in Korean, is a word-similarity guessing game run on energyinfo.seoul.go.kr, the energy information site of the Seoul city government. The site explains the name as energy plus Kkomantle (꼬맨틀), the Korean version of Semantle, and describes it as a game where you find the day's word related to energy and the environment.
You type a guess, and the game shows how similar its meaning is to the answer as a score from -100 to +100; the higher the positive score, the closer the meaning. If your guess is among the 1,000 words most similar to the answer, the game also shows its rank. The similarity is about meaning in context, not spelling, so words that appear in the same sentences score high, even opposites such as love and hate. The game suggests thinking about words that might appear in the same paragraph as the answer, and about homonyms: 밤 can be night or chestnut.
Answers can be any part of speech, nouns, verbs or adjectives, in their base form, and are at least two syllables long, though one-syllable guesses are allowed for strategy. You can keep guessing after you find the word, to explore what scores high. Settings let you choose whether the shared result shows your number of guesses, the time taken and your best similarity, and there is a dark mode. There is one word a day.
