About Daily Mini Killer (SudokuWiki)

SudokuWiki.org, Andrew Stuart's sudoku strategy site, runs a family of numbered daily puzzles, and the Mini Killer is the quickest of its killers. The grid is 6x6, split into 2x3 boxes, so each row, column and box takes the digits 1 to 6. On top of that the grid is divided into coloured cages, each with a small sum in its corner: the digits in a cage must add up to that sum and may not repeat inside it.\n\nEach puzzle has a number, a date and a difficulty level, #794 and Moderate on 3 October 2026. The free page gives one grade a day; All-Access Supporters can play all four. The player on the page has a number pad, notes with an option to prefill or auto-clear them, undo and redo, a check button, a timer with pause, and black-and-white or colour print versions.\n\nThe small grid makes it a good way into killer sudoku: the cage arithmetic is the same as on a full 9x9 killer, but a puzzle takes minutes rather than an hour.\n\nIt suits sudoku players who want a short daily killer, and newcomers learning cage sums before moving to the site's full Daily Killer.
