Daily Analogy
Fill in the blanks of the day's analogies, then find the odd pair out.
Every day: A new numbered set of analogies every day, the same for everyone, plus a daily Odd One Out and The Connection, at easy, medium and hard levels. New puzzle: Midnight UTC (the game dates each puzzle by the UTC day).

Daily Analogy is a word-reasoning game built on classic analogies of the form A is to B as C is to D. Each day brings a numbered set of analogies with blanks to fill from a pool of words, scored with green, amber and red, plus two side modes: Odd One Out and The Connection. Streaks, a weekly league and duels with friends keep score.
About Daily Analogy
Daily Analogy brings back the analogy question from school tests and turns it into a daily puzzle. The Classic mode shows a few analogies in the form bundle : ____ :: garbage : ____, with two blanks in each line, and a pool of words to place. You put each word in the blank where you think it belongs, then press Guess.
The feedback works like Wordle's colours. Green means the word is right and it locks in place. Amber means the word belongs in that analogy but in the other blank. Red means the word is a decoy that does not belong there. You keep adjusting until every line holds. Two other daily modes use the same idea of word relationships: Odd One Out asks which pair does not fit with the others, and The Connection asks you to name the link between a set of word pairs. Each mode comes at easy, medium and hard levels.
Puzzles are numbered from 1 January 2025 and dated by the UTC day, and a calendar lets you go back over the last three months. The site keeps a streak, runs a weekly league and lets you challenge a friend to a duel on the same puzzle. It suits players who like Connections and thinking about how words relate, rather than spelling them.
How to play Daily Analogy
- Open Daily Analogy and start the day's Classic puzzle.
- Tap a word from the pool and then the blank it belongs in, or drag it there.
- Fill both blanks in every analogy, then press Guess.
- Read the colours: green is right and locks, amber belongs in that line but the other blank, red is a decoy.
- Swap words until every analogy is right, then try Odd One Out and The Connection.
Tips
- Name the relationship in the complete half of each line first, such as part to whole or tool to job, then look for a pair that matches it.
- Watch for decoys that fit the topic but not the relationship.
- Use an amber word straight away: it only needs moving to the other blank in the same line.
