Bluelockdle is a free daily guessing game about the characters of Blue Lock. Type a name and the game compares your guess with the hidden character trait by trait, in green, red and arrows, until you find who it is. It keeps your streak and shows yesterday's answer, with extra Blue Lock modes beside the daily one.

About Bluelockdle

Bluelockdle is a fan-made guessing game built around Blue Lock, the football manga and anime. It runs on its own site, separate from the Blue Lock page of Mangadle, and states that Blue Lock does not endorse or sponsor it. Each day one character is chosen for everyone, and you have to work out who it is.

You type a character's name or nickname and pick it from the list. Your guess appears as a row of tiles under the headings Image, Name, Gender, Age, Hair Color, Team, Position, Weapon, Country and First Arc. A tile turns green when it matches the hidden character and red when it does not, and arrows show whether the answer's age or first arc is higher or lower. The weapon column is the player's signature skill, such as Spatial Awareness for Isagi, and the first arc runs from the introductory arc through the selections and the NEL to the U-20 World Cup.

After several wrong guesses you can open hints: a line from or about the character, their title, or something they have done, and the chapter where they first appear. Once you win, the day's clues are shown in full. Above the board the game counts your streak and stats, and below it names yesterday's character with its puzzle number.

Beside the daily character the site has a Wordly mode, a Pinpoint mode, an Unlimited mode for practice and a Blue Lock quiz, along with character profiles and a team builder. It suits readers of the manga who know the cast down to the side teams of the NEL.

How to play Bluelockdle

  1. Open Bluelockdle and type the name of any Blue Lock character in the box.
  2. Pick the character from the list and press the arrow to guess.
  3. Read the row of tiles: green is a match, red is no match, and an arrow says the answer's value is above or below yours.
  4. Use the matches to narrow the next guess, and open the hints if you get stuck after several tries.
  5. When you find the character, check your streak and share your score; a new character comes the next day.

Tips

  • Start with a main Blue Lock Japan player, since team, country and first arc split the cast quickly.
  • The Weapon column is very specific: a green there almost names the character.
  • First Arc follows story order, so the arrow tells you whether the answer appears earlier or later in the manga.
  • Practise in Unlimited mode before the daily round if you have not read the later arcs.
