Beat the Bots

Every day: One new AI-drawn picture a day, made from five secret words on a theme and the same for every player, along with the number of guesses the Bot needed to find them. New puzzle: Midnight UTC.

Beat the Bots is a free daily word game built on an AI picture. Every night at midnight UTC a new image is drawn from five secret words, and you tap words from a pool until you have found all five. Win by needing fewer guesses than the Bot, which guessed from the same pool.
About Beat the Bots
Beat the Bots is a daily word puzzle played on beatthebots.ai. Each night at midnight UTC an AI image generator paints a new picture from a prompt of five words on a theme, and that picture is the day's puzzle for everyone.
You see the picture and a pool of words. Tap the ones you think were in the prompt: a right word turns green, a wrong one red. Counters at the top show how many guesses the Bot took, how many you have used and how many of the five you have found. The Bot guessed from the same pool, and its guesses are shown in order once you finish, along with the puzzle's title.
The themes can be literal or figurative, so the picture is a starting point rather than an answer key: a skull on a beach may be a pirate word or a word about danger. The style of the pictures changes, and players vote on next week's style.
The game is free and has no ads; its site says it is made by one person and paid for by donations. You can play as a guest, or sign in with Google or an email link to keep a streak and join the leaderboard. Every puzzle since March 2025 is kept in the History page, so a missed day can be played later. It suits players who like reading a picture closely and who enjoy guessing games about words rather than letters.
How to play Beat the Bots
- Open beatthebots.ai and look at the day's AI-drawn picture.
- Read the pool of words below it and tap one you think was in the prompt that made the picture.
- Watch the colour: green means the word was one of the five, red means it was not.
- Keep tapping until all five words are found, using what the found words tell you about the theme.
- Compare your guess count with the Bot's: fewer guesses than the Bot is a win, and the title and the Bot's guesses are shown at the end.

Tips
- Start with what you can plainly see in the picture before reaching for mood words.
- Once two or three words are green, think about the theme they share; the rest often follow from it.
- The Bot guessed from the same pool, so obvious decoys may have caught it too; check its count before you rush.
- Sign in before you play if you want the day to count toward your streak.
