The Wordziel logo

Wordziel is a Polish take on Wordle. You have seven tries to guess the day's five-letter Polish word, and the on-screen keyboard includes letters such as ą, ł and ż. The site also runs Konteksto, a Polish guess-by-meaning game in the style of Contexto.

About Wordziel

Wordziel is a free browser word game in Polish, built on the Wordle formula. Each day there is a new numbered puzzle (number 442 on 3 October 2026), and everyone plays the same word that day.

You type any five-letter Polish word and press Enter. Each letter then turns green if it is in the word and in the right place, yellow if it is in the word but somewhere else, and grey if it is not in the word at all. You get seven tries, one more than the English original, and the keyboard has a row of Polish letters (ą, ć, ę, ł, ń, ó, ś, ź, ż) above the usual layout.

The site's second daily game, Konteksto, asks you to find a secret Polish noun by meaning. You can enter inflected forms, and each guess gets a rank: the lower the number, the closer it is in meaning to the answer. Guesses are unlimited and hints are available.

Wordziel suits Polish speakers and learners who want a daily Wordle with a native dictionary and diacritics, and the extra try makes it a little more forgiving.

How to play Wordziel

  1. Open wordziel.pl to see today's numbered puzzle.
  2. Type a five-letter Polish word, using the extra row for letters like ą or ł, and press Enter.
  3. Read the colours: green is right letter in the right place, yellow is in the word elsewhere, grey is not in the word.
  4. Use the clues to narrow down the word within seven tries.
  5. Then try Konteksto and guess the day's noun by meaning.

Tips

  • Remember that Polish letters with diacritics count as different letters: ł is not l.
  • Open with a word rich in common Polish letters such as a, o, e, i, r, z.
  • In Konteksto, start broad (a general noun) and move towards the area with the lowest ranks.
