Hive on GrySlowne.pl is a Polish version of the Spelling Bee. Seven letters are arranged as a honeycomb, and you build words of at least four letters that always include the centre letter. The day's puzzle shows how many words there are to find, and nine ranks track your share of the points.

About Hive (GrySlowne.pl)

GrySlowne.pl is a Polish site of daily word games, and Hive is its honeycomb puzzle. Each day's puzzle is numbered and lists how many words it holds; the one we checked had 23. Words must be at least four letters long, must contain the centre letter, and may reuse letters. The game uses a chosen word list of familiar common nouns, usually in the singular, with plural-only words such as nożyczki allowed; verbs, adjectives and proper names are not accepted.

Longer words score more, and a pangram that uses all seven letters adds seven bonus points. Your percentage of the available points sets one of nine ranks, from Początkujący (beginner) to Geniusz (genius), and finding every word is a separate challenge.

A new puzzle appears every day at midnight UTC. All players of the same language version get the same set, and the site runs the game in many other languages too, each with its own puzzles. It is free, needs no account and saves progress in your browser. It suits Polish speakers and learners who like the Spelling Bee format.
