Wykreślanka is the daily word search on GrySlowne.pl, a site of free Polish word games. Each day has a numbered puzzle and a theme, such as metals, and you hunt for the words hidden in a letter grid. Beating the easy grid unlocks a medium one, then a hard one with no hints.

About Wykreślanka (GrySlowne.pl)

GrySlowne.pl is a Polish site of free word games, including a mini crossword, hangman, a Spelling Bee style hive and this word search. Wykreślanka has run since the start of 2026, and each day's puzzle carries a number and a theme, with yesterday's solution and an archive of earlier puzzles on the same page.

A day's puzzle comes in three levels built around the same theme. On easy you see the full list of words to find; on medium only the first and last letter of each word is shown; on hard you get no list at all. Words can run in any of eight directions, forwards, backwards or diagonally, and you mark one by touching its first letter and dragging to its last. Each level unlocks when you finish the one before.

The themed word lists use everyday Polish, diacritics included, so it doubles as practice in spelling. A daily streak counter and nine achievements (up to a 100-day streak) give regulars something to keep up. It suits Polish speakers of any age and learners who want a calm puzzle rather than a race.

How to play Wykreślanka (GrySlowne.pl)

  5. Finish medium to unlock hard, which gives no word list at all.

Tips

  • Scan for rare letters such as Ż, Ź, Ę or Ą; they narrow down where a word can be.
  • If a word will not show, look for its last letter and read backwards.
  • On medium, use the given first and last letters to find both ends of a word at once.
  • Think of other words that fit the theme on hard, since there is no list to work from.
