About Word Slide (PEMDAS)

Word Slide lays out the day's letters as a row of short columns of different heights. Only the middle row counts: you drag columns up and down to change which letter sits in it, and when the row spells a valid word, those tiles turn green. Then you shift columns again to bring unused letters into line and spell the next word.

The puzzle is solved when every tile on the board has been green, so the question is not just finding one word but an order of words that uses every letter. Your completion time is your score, ranked on the day's leaderboard and against friends. A new board comes each day at midnight, the same for every player.

How to play Word Slide (PEMDAS)

1. Open Word Slide on pemdasapp.com or in the PEMDAS app.
2. Drag a column of letters up or down to change which letter sits in the middle row.
3. When the middle row spells a valid word, its tiles turn green.
4. Keep sliding to bring unused letters into line and spell more words.
5. Turn every tile green to stop the clock, then compare your time.

Tips

• Look first at the tallest columns: their letters need the most words to use up.
• Short columns with one letter limit where a word can sit; build words around them.
• Plan two words ahead rather than spelling the first one you see.
