Trail
Draw one line through every tile of the board, exactly once.
Every day: One numbered Daily board a day, the same for everybody: draw one line through every tile exactly once. Daily 1 was 28 September 2026. New puzzle: Midnight UTC.

Trail is a one-line path puzzle: start at the ring and draw a single line that passes through every tile once, without crossing or doubling back. Besides an endless run of generated levels, it has a numbered Daily board that is the same for everybody and changes each day.
About Trail
Trail is a small logic game by Franz Enzenhofer that runs in the browser and as a free iPhone app. Each board is a grid of tiles with a starting ring. You drag, or swipe, and the line runs from tile to tile; tap a tile further along the same row or column and the line runs straight to it. The goal is to cover every tile exactly once.
The levels add rules as you go. Short walls between tiles block the way, arrow tiles force the direction you leave them in, and in later levels you pick up a key and carry it to a lock before the path can finish. The main mode is a long sequence of generated levels that get a little harder each time, with a progress bar at the top and a hint button when you get stuck.
The Daily is a separate numbered board, labelled New today in the menu, and it is the same for every player. Solve it and you can share your result; the next one arrives the following day. Daily 1 appeared on 28 September 2026.
Trail is free, with no ads and no account, and the app plays offline. It suits players who like LinkedIn's Zip or other fill-the-grid path puzzles and want a short daily board alongside an endless practice mode.
How to play Trail
- Open Trail and choose Daily from the menu (marked New today).
- Start at the ring and drag or swipe to extend the line one tile at a time.
- Tap a tile further along the same row or column to run the line straight to it.
- Steer around walls, follow arrow tiles, and carry any key to its lock.
- Cover every tile exactly once to solve the board, then share your result.

Tips
- Look at corners and dead-end tiles first: a tile with only one open neighbour must be where the line ends or passes in a fixed way.
- Tiles boxed in by walls tell you which direction the line must take through them.
- If the line turns red at a dead end, back up a few tiles rather than restarting.
- Use the hint only on the move you are unsure of; the rest of the board usually follows.
