SpellBee (AppStation)
Seven letters, one in the middle you must always use, and a new hive every day.
Every day: A new seven-letter hive every day, the same for every player, with ranks up to Queen Bee and yesterday's full answer list the next day. New puzzle: Once a day (the listing does not state the time).

SpellBee is a Spelling Bee style word app for iPhone and Android. Each day everyone gets the same seven letters; you make words of four or more letters that always use the centre one, and try to find the pangram that uses all seven. Points move you up the ranks toward Queen Bee.
About SpellBee (AppStation)
SpellBee follows the hive format that the New York Times made popular. Seven letters sit in a ring of circles with one in the middle, highlighted in yellow. Every word you make must be at least four letters long and must use the centre letter, and letters can be used more than once. Somewhere in each puzzle is at least one pangram, a word that uses all seven.
The Daily tab holds the shared puzzle: a brand new set of letters each day, the same for everyone. A progress bar shows how many of the possible words you have found and your rank, climbing toward Queen Bee. The Yesterday tab lists every answer to the previous day's hive, with pangrams highlighted, so you can see what you missed.
Outside the daily, Unlimited mode generates random hives for practice, and more than a thousand past daily puzzles can be replayed. The app keeps stats such as days in a row, words found, pangrams and a week-by-week view, offers hints that reveal letters, and has colour themes with light and dark modes. Most features work offline.
SpellBee is made by AppStation Studio and came out on the App Store in 2024, and its site links an Android version as well. It suits Spelling Bee players who want an app with an archive and a daily answer list.

Tips
- Start with common endings such as -ING, -ED or -S if the letters allow them; each gives several words at once.
- Look for the pangram early by trying to combine the less common letters first.
- Letters can repeat, so try doubled letters (BOOK, HOOK) once you run out of ideas.
- Check yesterday's list: it teaches which short words the dictionary accepts.
