Rechain
Fill a chain where every neighbouring pair makes a compound word.
Every day: A new word chain every day for everyone: fill the hidden words between START and END so every neighbouring pair forms a compound word. New puzzle: Once a day.

Rechain is a daily word chain puzzle. Between a start word and an end word sit hidden words, and every neighbouring pair must form a compound word, as in FIRE, FLY, WHEEL, HOUSE, WORK, SHOP. Green, yellow and grey feedback guides each guess.
About Rechain
Rechain sets one chain a day, the same for every player. You see the START and END words with empty slots between them, and every adjacent pair in the finished chain forms a compound word. The example on the site runs FIRE, FLY, WHEEL, HOUSE, WORK, SHOP: firefly, flywheel, wheelhouse, housework, workshop.
You tap an empty slot and type a word that forms a compound with its neighbours above and below. Feedback is coloured: green for correct, yellow for close, grey to try again. Fill every hidden word to complete the chain.
An archive of past puzzles, streaks and statistics, sharing, dark mode and an Easy Mode come with it, with no account needed (Google sign-in syncs devices).
It suits players who like compound-word and chain puzzles.
