Ordhjul is the daily word wheel on the website of the Danish newspaper Information. Each day a new wheel of letters appears; you find as many words of at least four letters as you can, each using the centre letter, and at least one word uses every letter in the wheel.

About Ordhjul (Information)

Ordhjul (word wheel) is one of the free puzzles in the games section of Dagbladet Information, alongside its daily crossword, the Wordle-style Ordnød and a sudoku. The puzzle is supplied through Keesing's daily puzzle service and shows a wheel of letters with one in the middle.

The rules are short. Words must be at least four letters long, each letter of the wheel can be used only once per word, and the centre letter must always be included. Only base forms count, so no definite forms or plurals. Every wheel contains at least one word that uses all of its letters, the natural target for each day. A timer runs while you play, and a new wheel arrives every day.

It suits Danish speakers who like Spelling Bee style word hunts and anagram puzzles, and learners who want a daily vocabulary workout.

How to play Ordhjul (Information)

Tips
