Find ordet is the daily word search from the Danish newspaper Information. Each day brings a themed grid of letters, such as leisure activities, with a list of Danish words to find; it is free to play in the browser with a timer.

About Find ordet (Information)

Find ordet (also labelled Ordjagt, word hunt) is part of the games section of Dagbladet Information, the Copenhagen daily founded in 1945. Like the paper's other online puzzles, including the Danish Wordle Ordnød and its crossword, it is supplied by the puzzle company Keesing and changes every day.

Each puzzle is a grid of letters around a theme, with a list of Danish words hidden in it horizontally, vertically or diagonally. You find and mark each one; a timer keeps track of how long you take. The grid we looked at was 11 by 12 letters on the theme of leisure.

Everyone gets the same grid on the same day, and the puzzle can be played free in the browser without logging in.

It suits Danish speakers and learners who want a relaxed daily puzzle, and makes good vocabulary practice around one subject.
