Nounable
Guess the day's secret proper noun, with every guess ranked by how close it is.
Every day: One secret proper noun per day (a person, place, film, band, brand, landmark or character), the same answer for everyone in the world, found by guesses ranked by similarity. New puzzle: Once a day; the site does not state the time.

Nounable is a daily guessing game like Contexto, but for proper nouns. The secret answer might be a person, a city, a film or a brand, and each guess gets a rank showing how semantically close it is; the answer is rank 1, and you try to reach it in as few guesses as possible.
About Nounable
Nounable is a free daily word game in which the secret is a proper noun: a specific person, place, film, band, brand, landmark or fictional character. There is one puzzle a day, and the site says everyone in the world gets the same answer.
Every guess is ranked by how semantically close it is to the secret, which is rank 1. Behind the scenes each of the game's roughly 35,000 known entities is represented as a text embedding, and your guess is ranked by cosine similarity against all the others. You start somewhere around rank 20,000 and use each rank like a compass heading to choose the next guess, aiming to finish under par.
The home page shows the week's daily games so you can catch up on previous days, and an Infinite mode serves unlimited random puzzles that do not touch your stats. There are dark and colourblind settings, and no account is needed.
It suits trivia fans and players of Contexto or Semantle who know a lot of names.
