A Mazlide level in World 2, Ancient Forest: a green grid with a purple start hexagon and a red goal square, framed by autumn leaves

Mazlide is a grid logic game of sliding moves, inspired by the ice caves of Pokémon: you glide until you hit a wall, and must find the route to the goal. Besides a 350-level campaign and online duels, a daily challenge gives everyone the same five random levels, ranked by time.

About Mazlide

Mazlide, by Mazlide Studio, grew out of its maker's fondness for the slippery ice-cave puzzles in Pokémon games. On each grid you slide in a direction and keep going until something stops you, so reaching the goal square is a matter of finding the right sequence of moves rather than the shortest path.

The campaign has seven themed worlds of 50 levels each, getting steadily harder. Multiplayer draws on more than 50,000 official levels rated by the minimum number of moves, with 1v1 duels against players worldwide or friends, global leaderboards by difficulty and a weekly community boss that players damage by finishing ranked levels. Endless random levels and cosmetics round it out.

The daily challenge sets the same five random levels for everyone, and the fastest time wins. The game released on Windows on 4 September 2026, and its maker invites feedback on the Steam page.

It suits players who enjoyed ice-sliding puzzles in adventure games and want a daily speed test of them.

How to play Mazlide

  1. Launch Mazlide on Steam and open the daily challenge in multiplayer.
  2. Swipe or press a direction to slide; you keep moving until you hit a wall or block.
  3. Plan a chain of slides that stops you on the goal square.
  4. Clear the day's five levels as fast as you can to rank on the daily leaderboard.

Tips

  • Work backwards from the goal: find the walls you could stop against next to it.
  • Count moves; level difficulty is rated by the minimum number needed.
