Every day: One real circuit a day for the Daily Quali, the same for everyone with the same conditions (some days wet or low downforce), and six laps to find the fastest line. Ten short motorsport games are new each day beside it. New puzzle: Midnight; the countdown on the page pointed to 00:00 UTC when we looked.

Lapdle is a free browser game about the racing line. Each day brings one real circuit, the same for every player, and six laps to set a line through its corners and earn a medal against the perfect lap. Ten shorter motorsport games come with it: name a circuit, order its corners, change tyres, judge a braking point.
About Lapdle
Lapdle is a daily racing line challenge played in the browser, free and with no account or download. Its main game is the Daily Quali: one real circuit a day, seen from above, with six laps to find the fastest way round it. Everyone gets the same circuit and the same conditions, so laps can be compared.
You choose a line for each corner, early apex, classic or late apex, or move every point yourself, then press Lights out. A car drives your line under a physics model with limits on grip, braking, cornering and power. Each corner comes back coloured for the time it lost against the perfect lap, the fastest line the model can find: purple within 0.05 s, green within 0.15 s, yellow within 0.4 s, red slower. Your best lap earns bronze, silver or gold for its time, or pole when every corner is purple. Some days are wet or run with low downforce, which changes the grip, the perfect line and the medal times.
The circuits are traced from OpenStreetMap data and drawn with kerbs, run-off and surroundings. Lapdle says it is an independent game, not tied to any racing series or team.
Around the Daily Quali sit ten short games that also change each day: Mystery circuit and Aerial view ask you to name a circuit from a few corners or from above without the track, Order the corners puts six corners in lap order, Line-up sorts sixteen tiles into four groups, Higher or lower and Speed trap test circuit facts and speeds, and Pit stop, Braking point, Make the corner and Lights out test timing and reactions. A streak counts the days you play.
It suits motorsport fans who know their circuits and players who like a puzzle with a physical feel, where a small change to one corner shows up straight away in the lap time.
How to play Lapdle
- Open lapdle.com to see the day's circuit, its length, corner count, conditions and the medal times.
- Pick a line for each corner: early apex, classic or late apex, or drag the points to fine-tune it.
- Press Lights out and watch the car drive your line with braking, turn-in and acceleration from the physics model.
- Read the colour of each corner: purple is within 0.05 s of the perfect lap, red is the slowest.
- Change the slowest corners and drive again; you have six laps, and your best one earns bronze, silver, gold or pole.
- Play the side games from the bar at the top, such as Mystery circuit, Pit stop and Higher or lower.

Tips
- In slow corners a late apex usually pays: brake in a straight line, turn in later and get on the power early.
- Through fast sweeps a classic line keeps the speed up; an early apex tends to run out of road on the exit.
- Fix the reddest corner first, and read the coach note under your result for why it lost time.
- On wet days carry less speed into every corner, since grip is lower everywhere.
