J!6 is the official Jeopardy! daily game. Each category on the show has a sixth clue that never makes it to air; every weekday J!6 lets you play those twelve clues, one per category, in a Jeopardy! and a Double Jeopardy! round, with about ten seconds a clue.

About J!6

J!6 comes from the makers of Jeopardy! and plays on a fact most viewers do not know: the writers prepare an extra, sixth clue for every category, and only five are used on the show. Each weekday, J!6 puts the unaired clues from that day's categories online.

The game follows the show's structure. You play six clues from the Jeopardy! round categories first and see your score, then go on to Double Jeopardy! for the remaining six. Each clue gives you about ten seconds to choose your response, and you earn points for each correct one. After twelve clues you get the day's J!6 score.

You can play without an account, but logging in with a MyJeopardy! profile records your daily score and a lifetime tally of correct responses. The site suggests playing along while the episode airs, since the categories are the same.

It suits anyone who watches the show or likes quick general knowledge, and it takes only a few minutes.
