Grouple
Sort sixteen words into four hidden groups, with four mistakes to spare.
Every day: One numbered puzzle a day for everyone (#2 on 3 October 2026): sixteen words hiding four groups of four, to be sorted with four mistakes to spare. New puzzle: Once a day (the site does not state the time).

Grouple is a free daily word-grouping puzzle in the Connections style. Each numbered puzzle hides four groups of four among sixteen words; pick four that belong together, submit, and clear all four groups before you run out of mistakes. Anyone can also make and share their own puzzles.
About Grouple
Grouple started at the start of October 2026; the 3 October puzzle was only number 2. The format will be familiar: sixteen words on a board, four secret groups of four. Tap four words you think share something and submit. A correct group locks in with its colour; a wrong guess costs one of your four mistakes. Clear all four groups and you can share a result grid.
Besides the daily puzzle, Grouple lets anyone build a puzzle of their own and share it with friends or followers, and you can browse community puzzles. It needs no login, shows no ads and keeps only anonymous play counts.
It suits players who finish Connections and want a second grouping puzzle each day.
How to play Grouple
- Open today's Grouple and look over the sixteen words.
- Tap four words you think belong to one hidden group.
- Submit; a correct group locks in with its colour, a wrong one costs a mistake.
- Keep going until all four groups are found or your four mistakes are used up.
- Share your result grid, or make your own puzzle.
Tips
- Look for words that could fit more than one group; they are usually the traps.
- Solve the group you are surest of first to shrink the board.
- Say the words aloud: sound-alikes and hidden words are common group themes.
- Save your last mistakes for the final two groups.
