GeoSports
Read a sports clue and tap where it happened on the globe, five times a day.
Every day: One dated round of five sports geography questions a day for everyone: read a clue about a sports moment and tap where it happened on a globe; results for the day are shared. New puzzle: Once a day (the site does not state the time).

GeoSports is a quick daily sports geography quiz. Each day's round has five clues about sports history, such as an NFL expansion team forced to redesign its logo, and you answer by tapping the right place on a satellite globe. The closer you tap, the more you score.
About GeoSports
GeoSports takes the pin-the-map format and fills it with sports trivia. The day's round is dated (3 October 2026 opened with a clue about a luxury carmaker suing a city's NFL expansion team over its logo before its 1995 debut) and has five questions. You spin and zoom a satellite globe, tap the spot, and can tick an option to confirm before locking in.
A round takes 60 to 90 seconds. Your score builds over the five questions, and the menu shows Today's Results to compare with other players, your stats, groups to play with friends and previous days. A Pro subscription adds unlimited rounds, sport-specific sets and a Pro leaderboard. There is also a mobile app.
It suits sports fans who like GeoGuessr-style games, and players of GeoGrandPrix or GeoPreneur who want a different theme.
How to play GeoSports
- Open today's round; the first clue appears above the globe.
- Work out which city or venue the clue describes.
- Spin and zoom the globe and tap the place.
- Lock in your answer; the closer you are, the more you score.
- Answer all five questions and compare your score in Today's Results.
Tips
- Work out the team or event first, then its home city.
- Zoom in before tapping: distance counts, so a city tap beats a country tap.
- Turn on confirm before locking in if you mis-tap on a phone.
- Expansion teams and Olympic hosts come up often; it pays to know the years.
