Exodle is a fan-made daily guessing game for Destiny 2 players. Each day it hides one exotic weapon or armour piece, and every guess you make is compared with it on slot, element, perks, class and season, with tile colours showing how close you are.
About Exodle
Exodle applies the Wordle idea to Destiny 2's exotic gear. Each day one exotic weapon or armour piece is chosen as the answer, and the page labels the day by the game's current episode and day number.
You type the name of an exotic and submit it. Your guess fills a row of tiles under six columns: the exotic itself, its slot, element, perks, class and season. Tile colours show which traits match the hidden item and how close the others are, so each guess narrows the field. You have seven tries.
The game is made by ASTRELION, who also runs a set of Destiny 2 guides, and its source code is public on GitLab. It uses item data from the Bungie API and suits players who know their exotics by season and slot.
How to play Exodle
- Type the name of a Destiny exotic in the box and pick it from the list.
- Submit to fill a row: exotic, slot, element, perks, class and season.
- Read the tile colours to see which traits match the day's exotic and how close the others are.
- Find the exotic within seven guesses, then come back for the next day's item.
Tips
- Open with an exotic from a middle season so the season tile can point both ways.
- Class narrows armour fast: a Hunter, Titan or Warlock match cuts the list by two thirds.
- Slot and element together often leave only a handful of weapons.
