About Clume
Clume gives everyone the same hidden word each day. The first clue appears on its own, a single word such as COMPASS, and you type the word you think it points to. A wrong guess brings out the next clue, so the puzzle builds up until you see the link.
The clues come at the answer from different directions: a familiar association, part of a common phrase, a definition, an opposite, a second meaning. A clue that seems vague alone can click once you put it beside the ones before it, and part of the game is deciding when you know enough to commit. Some clues lead you toward a confident guess before a later one turns the puzzle another way.
You can play without an account. A free seven-day trial keeps your games, streaks and statistics, and after it a paid Clume Supporter plan keeps recording them and removes the adverts; the daily puzzle itself stays free. A new word arrives at midnight in your own time zone.
It suits players who like word association and Pinpoint-style link puzzles, where the score is how few clues you needed.
