ChessPuzzle.net posts one daily chess puzzle, chosen by the site's owner from real tournament games, with the players and event shown beside the board. Everyone gets the same position, and more than 2,000 earlier daily puzzles sit in an archive. The site also offers rated puzzle training, courses and a leaderboard.

About ChessPuzzle.net Daily Chess Puzzle

ChessPuzzle.net is a chess tactics site run by Martin Bennedik. Its Daily Chess Puzzle page has been running for many years: each day the owner selects one position from a real tournament game, often a very recent one, and publishes it as the puzzle of the day. The board is shown with the task, for example Black to win, and with the names, ratings, event, place and date of the game it came from.

You solve by playing the moves on the board, and the puzzle continues until you have won material or delivered mate. A Hint button is there if you get stuck. Because there is one puzzle per day for every visitor, it is easy to compare with friends, and the site offers RSS, a browser reminder and embed code so others can show the daily on their own pages.

The archive holds more than 2,000 past daily puzzles to work through, and the wider site has rated tactics training, an academy of courses and a leaderboard. Some extras, such as an ad-free experience, are part of a Premium plan.

It suits club players and improving beginners who want one realistic tactic a day taken from games played by real people.
