Boxed In (Sporcle)
Put a word search back together: fit every listed word into the grid.
Every day: One numbered grid a day, the same for every player: a word search taken apart, with a list of words and a few starting letters, to put back together. New puzzle: Once a day; the site does not state the time.

Boxed In is Sporcle's daily reverse word search. You get a letter grid with only a few starting letters and a list of words, and you place each word by choosing its start and end squares until every word fits. A Sporcle subscription is needed for the daily puzzle.
About Boxed In (Sporcle)
Boxed In is one of Sporcle's daily games, edited by Matt Ramme. Each puzzle is numbered and dated; number 32 fell on 2 October 2026, and an archive keeps earlier grids.
It turns the word search around. Instead of finding hidden words in a full grid, you start with a nearly empty grid showing a few letters and a list of the words that belong in it. You choose a word, click the square where it starts and the square where it ends, and it is laid in. Words cross and share letters, so one word in the wrong place blocks others, and you can click a placed word to take it out again.
The puzzle is solved when every word fits. Sporcle lists it under its Game Lab label. The daily grid, nine words in one box, is part of a Sporcle subscription, and a free sample game shows how it works. It suits word search fans who want a puzzle that needs planning, and players who like fitting pieces together in a small space.
