About Vinlandle

Vinlandle is one of the character -dles on animedle.org, from the same family as Frierendle, Hunterdle, Chainsawdle and Fairy Tail Dle, and a fan project that Vinland Saga's trademark holders do not endorse. One hidden character a day is shared by every player, changing every 24 hours by your time zone.

Each guess fills a row with the character's picture and properties: gender, height, age, hair color, weapon, occupation, affiliation and first arc. Green tiles match and red ones do not, and arrows on ordered properties such as height, age and first arc point toward the answer. Clues unlock after several guesses: a quote from or about the character, or their title, and the page names yesterday's answer (#39, Thorgil, on October 6).

The roster is the warriors, farmers, kings and families of the saga. The page shows an ad before you play. It suits readers of Vinland Saga who know its cast beyond Thorfinn.

How to play Vinlandle

1. Open the game on animedle.org and press Play past the ad.
2. Type a Vinland Saga character's name and submit it.
3. Read the tiles: green matches, red does not, and arrows point toward the answer.
4. Keep guessing until you find today's character; hints unlock along the way.

Tips

• Affiliation and occupation sort warriors from farmers and royalty in one guess.
• Weapon is a quick tiebreak among fighters of the same band.
• The first arc arrow tells you whether the answer comes before or after an arc you know.
