About Puzzle Cottage

Puzzle Cottage is a Steam game by Adib Boutros, released at the end of July 2026 for Windows. It gathers sixteen puzzle types under one warm, hand-drawn roof and gives each one a new board every day.

The set is broad: Picross paints a hidden picture from number clues, Starlight places stars so no two touch with one per row, column and region, Bramble draws one trail through every tile past numbered points, Quilt splits the grid into rectangles, Forage balances rows and columns with no three in a row, Streams and Vines are about connecting tiles, and Checkmate shows a real game position with a mate in one, two or three. Verse and Wheel are the word puzzles, asking you to trace or spell hidden English words.

Every daily logic board is checked to have exactly one solution reachable by deduction, so you never have to guess, and an optional hint explains why the next move works rather than just giving it away. Results feed points, a daily streak and leaderboards, including a friends board showing who else has played the same board.

Outside on the porch are six games for two players at one computer or against a gentle computer opponent, such as noughts and crosses, four in a row and Turkish draughts. It suits people who like a varied morning puzzle routine, and families who want something to share.

How to play Puzzle Cottage

1. Buy and install Puzzle Cottage on Steam.
2. Pick any of the sixteen puzzles to open today's board.
3. Solve it by deduction, using the optional hint if you get stuck.
4. Work through as many of the day's boards as you like and compare your times on the leaderboards.
