PlaySportiz
Six daily guess-the-athlete games, from football to golf, with clues after every guess.
Every day: Six mystery athletes a day, one per sport (Football, World Cup legends, Cricket, Tennis, F1 and Golf), the same for everyone: each guess shows colour-coded clues comparing your player with the hidden one, with up to ten guesses. New puzzle: Midnight UTC (the game's daily seed is the UTC date).

PlaySportiz runs six daily mystery athlete games: Football, World Cup legends, Cricket, Tennis, F1 and Golf. You guess a player and see how each of their attributes compares with the hidden one, then use the clues to close in within ten guesses. There is no sign-up, and streaks and stats are tracked.
About PlaySportiz
PlaySportiz is a set of daily guessing games built on the same idea: find the mystery athlete from what your guesses reveal. There are six of them, each with its own player for the day: Football, World Cup legends, Cricket, Tennis, Formula 1 and Golf.
Each guess fills a row of clue tiles. In Football, the tiles cover nationality, club, position, debut year, preferred foot and career goals. A green tile is an exact match. A yellow nationality means the hidden player comes from the same continent, and arrows on the numbers tell you whether the answer is higher or lower. The other sports use their own attributes: wickets, runs, fifties and hundreds in Cricket; championships, wins, podiums and starts in F1; playing hand, titles, Slams and Masters in Tennis; highest ranking, PGA and European wins and majors in Golf; and caps and goals for the World Cup legends.
You have up to ten guesses per game, and the fewer you need, the better your score. A new athlete appears in every game each day. Results can be shared without spoilers, and the site keeps statistics and a streak for each sport.
The games suit fans who follow more than one sport, since the same clue reading works across all six. No account is needed.
How to play PlaySportiz
- Pick one of the six sports from the PlaySportiz home page.
- Guess a well known player to get a first set of clue tiles.
- Read the tiles: green is an exact match, yellow nationality is the same continent, arrows show higher or lower numbers.
- Narrow down with each guess and find the mystery athlete within ten tries.
- Share your result and try the other five sports.
Tips
- Start with a famous, mid-career player: the numbers then point usefully up or down.
- Lock in exact matches early: once club or position is green, only guess players who share it.
- Use the debut or turned-pro year arrows to place the player in an era before chasing stats.
- A yellow nationality narrows the answer to one continent, so switch countries within it.
