Nunca Quatro (O Globo)
Fill the grid with crosses and circles, never more than three in a row.
Every day: Three dated 9x9 grids a day (Básico, Intermediário, Avançado), the same for every player: fill every square with X or O so no four in a row ever line up. New puzzle: Midnight local time (the game loads the grids for your device's date).

Nunca Quatro (never four) is a daily grid logic puzzle on O Globo Jogos. You complete a 9x9 board of crosses and circles so that no line ever has four of the same symbol in a row. There are three dated grids each day, from easy to hard, plus a history of past days.
About Nunca Quatro (O Globo)
O Globo's games page sums up Nunca Quatro in one rule: cross or circle, never more than three in a row. Each day brings three 9x9 grids at Básico, Intermediário and Avançado levels, and the difficulty comes from how many squares are filled in at the start. On 2 October 2026 the easy grid gave 47 squares, the intermediate 37 and the advanced only 30.
Every grid is stored under its date and level, so everyone opening the game on the same day solves the same three boards. The game is built by CruciApp, which makes daily puzzles for several Latin American newspapers, and it opens with a card showing the date and the three levels.
The player has a timer, a counter of squares still to fill, a how-to-play page, statistics, settings and a history button for earlier days. Tap a square to cycle through a cross, a circle or blank. When the grid is full and no line has four of a kind, the puzzle is solved. O Globo's site shows subscription offers while you browse.
It suits fans of binary puzzles such as Takuzu, Binairo or LinkedIn's Tango who want a fresh variant with a single, simple rule.

Tips
- Look for three of a kind in a line: the squares at both ends must be the other symbol.
- Check gaps too: X X _ X means the gap must be O.
- Work row by row and column by column, switching whenever a new symbol forces another.
- Start on Básico to learn the patterns; Avançado gives far fewer squares to begin with.
