Lineups (HoopGrids)
Rate itRip open the day's pack and name every player on one team's roster from one season.
Every day: A fresh numbered pack every day in each league, the same for everyone: one NBA team's and one AFL club's full roster from a single season, to name as many players from as you can. New puzzle: 8pm US Eastern time (midnight in your own time zone, as the site puts it).

Lineups is a free daily sports roster game from the makers of HoopGrids. Each day there is one pack per league, an NBA team and an AFL club from a single season, and you name every player you remember; each right name pulls a card, and deep cuts are rarer and score more.
About Lineups (HoopGrids)
Lineups dresses a roster quiz as a pack of trading cards. Each day one team's full roster from one season is sealed in a foil pack, one for the NBA and one for the AFL: on 4 October 2026 the NBA pack was the 2014-15 Atlanta Hawks and the AFL pack the 2012 Adelaide Crows. You rip the pack open and type every player you can remember. Every player who appeared in at least one game for that team that season is in the pack.
Each right name pulls that player's card, and wrong guesses cost nothing. Cards have rarities from common to legendary and unicorn: stars are commons, and the deeper the bench player you remember, the rarer the card. Your five rarest pulls make up most of your score and every extra pull adds 5 points, so both deep knowledge and naming the whole roster pay.
At the end your five rarest pulls become a binder of emoji to share, with a streak kept for every day you play today's pack. An archive keeps every earlier pack, which you can replay without touching your streak. It comes from the people behind HoopGrids, NBA Connections and I Called Game, and it replaced their AFL game Footy Grid, which has closed.
It suits fans who like naming players from memory and want a quick daily test of how far down a bench they can go.

Tips
- Stars are common cards; the points are in the bench players and short-stay signings.
- Think through the season's trades and injury call-ups: one appearance is enough to be in the pack.
- Play both leagues: each has its own pack every day.
