GOATvs
Rate itTwo greats side by side: guess which one the world picked, until your first miss.
Every day: One Today's Challenge a day, the same for everyone: a run of head-to-head pairs where you guess which one the world picked, ending at your first wrong answer, with a leaderboard for the day. New puzzle: Midnight UTC.

GOATvs is a site where everyone votes on who or what is greater, one pair at a time, and the votes build Top 100 lists. Its Today's Challenge turns those votes into a daily game: you see two names and guess which one players picked more often, and the first wrong answer ends your run. Everyone gets the same pairs, so your score goes on a leaderboard for the day.
About GOATvs
GOATvs (Greatest Of All Time vs) ranks people, footballers, songs, films, TV series, video games, books, places and inventions by putting two of them side by side and asking which is greater. Every tap counts as a vote, and the votes add up to Top 100 lists by subject and by sub-category, such as goalkeepers, animated films or songs in Spanish.
Today's Challenge is the daily game built on those votes. Each pair shows two cards with a picture, a name and a short line such as a country or dates, under a subject label like People or Football. You do not say which one you prefer; you guess which one the world picked. A right guess brings the next pair, and the first wrong guess ends the game. Your score is how many you got right in a row.
The challenge is the same for every player and a new one starts at midnight UTC. A leaderboard ranks the day's best runs, a chart shows how everyone's scores spread, and the site keeps your streak of days played. Play with friends sets up a room where two to six players each use their own phone on the same ten duels, to see who reads the crowd best.
The game is close to higher or lower games, but the number behind each pair is a vote share among the site's own players rather than a statistic, so it rewards a feel for what most people think. Pairs swing from close calls, like two footballers of the same era, to odd match-ups across centuries. It suits anyone who likes this-or-that debates and a quick daily run.

Tips
- Guess what the crowd thinks, not what you think: global fame usually beats critical standing.
- Recent names with large fan bases often win against older ones, even in football and music.
- Vote in the free duels on the home page to get a feel for how the lists rank people and things.
