Dienos žodis (LNK) brings the Wordle formula to Lithuanian. Every day there is one hidden word of five letters, the same for all players, and the aim is to find it in seven tries or fewer.

You type real Lithuanian words, using a keyboard with the letters of the Lithuanian alphabet. After each guess the tiles change colour: one colour for a letter in the right place, another for a letter that is in the word but somewhere else, and grey for a letter that is not there at all. Each guess narrows down the answer.

Dienos žodis (word of the day) comes from the Lithuanian broadcaster LNK and gives seven tries rather than six, with a new game every day.

It suits Lithuanian speakers and learners who want their daily word puzzle in their own language.
