CSDLE.gg calls itself a passion project and says it has no ties to gambling or skin betting sites; ads pay for the servers. It runs four modes, picked from tabs at the top of the page, and each has one puzzle a day for all players.

In Map mode you see a tight crop of a CS2 map, such as a stretch of wall, and type the map's name; wrong guesses zoom the image out. The Player, Team and Skin modes work the same way with hints about a player's nationality, a team's region or a skin's category. The page shows how many people have already solved it and what yesterday's answer was.

Guessing early earns more XP, from 100 on the first try down to 25, and first-try solves earn reward points for the site's giveaways. No account is needed, and a global leaderboard ranks the fastest solvers.

How to play CSDLE.gg

1. Open CSDLE.gg and choose a mode: Map, Player, Team or Skin.
2. Study the zoomed or distorted picture.
3. Type your guess in the search box and press Guess.
4. After a miss, look again: more of the picture and new hints appear.
5. Solve all four modes before the countdown runs out.
