About CricketGuessr
CricketGuessr sets one mystery cricketer a day, the same for everyone, with a puzzle number (167 on 3 October 2026) and a new player at midnight IST. The pool covers IPL stars, international players and classic names.
You guess by naming a cricketer. Each guess is laid out against the answer's attributes, such as country, role, batting hand, bowling style and IPL team, and each one is marked as a match, a partial match or no match. With eight guesses you narrow down to the right player.
The site also has India and IPL editions, an archive of recent and older puzzles, a player list, a strategy guide and community stats on how others did.
It suits cricket fans who like Wordle-style deduction and know their squads.
