Concepto hides one word each day. You can start from one of three suggested words or type your own, and each guess appears as a card with its closeness percentage, a bar coloured by temperature (Frozen, Cold, Warm, Hot, Boiling) and a bridge word between your guess and the answer. In the App Store example, BUILDING at 14 percent bridges through FLOORS, PATH at 28 percent through TREAD, and the cards warm up through WALK, FOOT and SOCKS as the player closes in.

The bridge words are what set it apart: instead of a bare rank, each guess suggests a direction, which cuts down the long blind searches that games like Semantle can turn into. A hint hub can reveal the word's category, first and last letter and length.

The daily puzzle unlocks at midnight in your own time zone. There is also an Unlimited mode for practice. It is free in the browser, and the iOS and Android apps add a 365-day archive and offline play. It was made by sirimiri labs.

It suits players who like Contexto but want more guidance per guess.

How to play Concepto

1. Open the Daily and start from a suggested word or type your own.
2. Read the card: closeness percentage, temperature and the bridge word.
3. Use the bridge word to choose your next guess in the right direction.
4. Keep warming up from Frozen toward Boiling.
5. Find the secret word to solve the day, then share your result.
