About Blyzko (Близько)

Blyzko is a Ukrainian word game played by meaning rather than spelling. Every day there is one word of the day, the same for everyone. You type Ukrainian words, and the game ranks each by how close it is in meaning to the answer: the lower the number, the warmer the guess. The colours run from cold through cool, moderate, warm and hot to the target itself.

By following your warmest guesses you close in on the word. Past days are kept in an archive, and the site also offers a card duel, Хто ближче?, in which you judge which of two words is closer to a target.
