Taire (Mind Loft)
A face-up solitaire deal a day, with a proven fewest-moves target.
Every day: One open solitaire deal a day, the same for every player: two suits face up in columns with free cells (16 cards Monday to Wednesday, 20 Thursday to Saturday, one fewer free cell on Sunday). Always winnable, with a par and a proven fewest-moves perfect. Daily leaderboard. New puzzle: Midnight US Eastern Time.

Taire is a free daily solitaire from Mind Loft. Two suits are dealt face up into columns with one or two free cells beside them, and you send every card home. Nothing is hidden, every deal can be won, and each comes with a par and a proven minimum number of moves.
About Taire (Mind Loft)
Taire is the daily solitaire on Mind Loft, a free site of daily browser games. It is an open game in the FreeCell family: two suits dealt face up into columns of four, with free cells to park cards. Nothing is hidden and nothing is shuffled during play, so there is no luck. The deal you get is the deal everyone gets that day, and it can always be won. On the day we looked it was twenty cards with two free cells.
Every deal is generated by machine and solved exactly, then checked by a second solver written separately, so the perfect figure is the true fewest moves. Nobody beats perfect; the game is how close you get. Par sits a little above it and is what a clean line usually takes. That day, par was 40 and perfect was 32. There is no undo, only a restart.
The deals climb through the week in steps. Monday to Wednesday use sixteen cards, Thursday to Saturday the full twenty, and the Sunday Edition takes away a free cell, which makes a much bigger difference than it sounds.
A new deal goes up at midnight US Eastern Time. Mind Loft pairs it with Parker (sliding blocks), Check (checkers) and Mate (chess), all scored against a proven best line.

Tips
- Plan the whole sequence before your first move; every card is visible.
- Keep a free cell open as long as you can; a full set of cells usually ends the game.
- Empty a short column early, since an empty column is worth more than a free cell.
- On Sunday, with one fewer cell, count your parking spaces before every move.
