PokeGrid is a daily Pokémon grid game: a 3x3 board where each square needs a Pokémon that matches both its row and its column clue. You have nine guesses and one undo a day, and every correct pick shows how many players chose the same one, so rarer answers give a better score.
About PokeGrid
PokeGrid takes the Immaculate Grid format to Pokémon. A new numbered board comes each day, with three clues along the top and three down the side. Clues are more than types: a column may ask for a Pokémon resistant to Poison, a dual-type, or a middle evolution. Each of the nine squares needs a Pokémon that fits both of its clues, and one Pokémon cannot be used twice.
You have nine guesses for the nine squares, so a wrong answer costs a chance. As you type, a search box suggests names, regional and special forms included. Each correct pick opens a card with its rarity, the share of players who chose the same Pokémon for that square, and the rarities add up to your score. Each day you get one undo, to swap a common pick for a rarer one, and an I'm Done button ends the day early.
The site keeps your stats and streaks, shows the most popular picks once you have played, and has leaderboards for friends, members and everyone. Today's grid plays without an account; a free account unlocks past grids and friend codes. The game is kept up to date with new Pokémon and forms, and it can be played in English, French, German and Spanish.
It suits Pokémon fans who know their types and evolutions well and want a short daily test, and players of other grid games who like chasing rare answers.
How to play PokeGrid
- Read the three clues across the top and the three down the side of today's grid.
- Tap a square and type a Pokémon that fits both its row clue and its column clue, then pick it from the list.
- See its rarity: the share of players who chose the same Pokémon for that square.
- Use your one daily undo if you want to replace a common pick with a rarer one.
- Fill the grid within nine guesses, then compare your rarity score on the leaderboard and share it.

Tips
- Regional and special forms count as their own answers and are often rare picks.
- Tap a clue to read what it means before you guess; resistance and evolution clues are easy to misread.
- Fill the hardest square first, while every Pokémon is still free to use.
- Save the daily undo for a square where you know a rarer answer.
