Minecraftle is Wordle played on a Minecraft crafting table. From a panel of ingredients you place items in the 3x3 grid to craft something; each guess colours the slots to show which items are right, misplaced or not in the recipe, and you have ten tries to find the day's secret item. A Random mode gives extra rounds.
About Minecraftle
Minecraftle is Wordle played on a Minecraft crafting table. Instead of letters you work with blocks and items: the game shows a panel of crafting ingredients, and you arrange them in the 3x3 grid so they make a real Minecraft recipe. The secret item of the day is the one you are trying to craft.
You pick an ingredient, click the squares to place it, and click the result slot to submit the guess. Each square then stays grey if that ingredient is not in the recipe, turns orange if it is needed somewhere else on the grid, or green if it is right and in the right spot. Your guesses stack up the page as a history, and you have ten of them.
There is one recipe a day, the same for everyone and chosen by the date, plus a Random mode for as many extra recipes as you like. The game keeps your stats, lets you copy your result to share, and has a high-contrast colour option. The recipe list is kept up to date with new Minecraft versions (the banner today names recipes from 1.26.2).
It was made in 2022 by Tamura Boog, Zach Manson, Harrison Oates and Ivan Sossa Gongora, first in Flask and later rebuilt with Next.js and React. It is a fan game, not an official Minecraft product, and it is free with no sign-up and no ads. It suits Minecraft players who know their crafting recipes and want a short daily puzzle that rewards that knowledge.
How to play Minecraftle
- Open minecraftle.zachmanson.com; the Daily mode is selected when the page loads.
- Click an item in the Crafting Ingredients panel to pick it up, then click squares of the 3x3 grid to place it.
- When the grid makes a valid recipe, its item shows in the result slot: click it to submit the guess.
- Read the squares: grey means the ingredient is not in the recipe, orange means it belongs elsewhere on the grid, green means it is right and in place.
- Build the next guess from that feedback; you have ten guesses to craft the secret item.
- Press Random for extra recipes once the daily is done.

- Think about what the given ingredients can actually craft; the result slot points at the target item.
- Remember recipes are shape-specific, so a correct item in the wrong square still needs moving.
- Open with a recipe you know by heart to lock in a few positions early.
- Rule items out quickly by recalling which blocks never appear together in a recipe.
