Minecraftle
Work out the day's Minecraft crafting recipe in ten guesses.
Every day: One Minecraft crafting recipe a day, the same for every player, to rebuild on a crafting grid in ten guesses with coloured feedback on each slot. New puzzle: Midnight in your local time zone.

Minecraftle is Wordle played on a Minecraft crafting table. You get the ingredients and place them in the 3x3 grid to make a valid recipe; each guess colours the slots to show which items are right, in the wrong place or not in the answer, and you have ten tries to find the day's recipe. A Random mode gives extra rounds.
About Minecraftle
Minecraftle is Wordle played on a Minecraft crafting table. Instead of letters you work with blocks and items: the game gives you a set of crafting ingredients and asks you to arrange them in the 3x3 grid so they form the day's hidden recipe.
You place items into the grid and submit a guess. Each slot is then coloured to show which items are correct and in the right place, which are part of the recipe but in the wrong slot, and which are not in it at all. Because Minecraft recipes are shape-specific, position matters as much as the items. You have ten guesses to land on the recipe.
There is one recipe a day, the same for everyone, plus a Random mode that serves extra recipes for more rounds. The game keeps statistics, offers a high-contrast option, and runs in the browser. It is made by Zach Manson and is not an official Minecraft product.
It suits Minecraft players who know their crafting recipes and want a quick daily puzzle that rewards that knowledge. It is free to play.
How to play Minecraftle
- Open minecraftle.zachmanson.com and look at the Crafting Ingredients offered for the day.
- Place ingredients into the 3x3 crafting grid to form a recipe, then submit your guess.
- Read the colours on each slot: one colour for a correct item in the right place, one for an item that belongs in the recipe but sits in the wrong slot, and one for an item not in the recipe.
- Adjust your layout and guess again using that feedback; you have ten tries.
- Solve the day's recipe, or switch to Random mode for extra recipes.
Tips
- Think about what the given ingredients can actually craft; the result slot points at the target item.
- Remember recipes are shape-specific, so a correct item in the wrong square still needs moving.
- Open with a recipe you know by heart to lock in a few positions early.
- Rule items out quickly by recalling which blocks never appear together in a recipe.
